How it works

How we build a store that sells, from platform choice to repeat orders.

A store is three systems that have to agree: the catalogue and checkout the customer sees, the payments, stock and delivery behind it, and the marketing that brings people back. Most stores that disappoint are strong in one and weak in the others. The work below covers all three, on Shopify, Magento (Adobe Commerce) or WooCommerce.

  1. 1. Choose the platform for the business, not the trend

Shopify suits most brands that want to sell quickly with little upkeep. WooCommerce suits a business already on WordPress that wants content and shop in one place. Magento suits large catalogues, several stores or complex pricing. We recommend one after looking at your product count, your integrations and who will run the store day to day.

  2. 2. Map the catalogue before designing anything

Categories, filters, variants and product data decide whether a buyer finds the right item in two clicks or leaves. We agree the structure, the attributes each product needs and the URL pattern first, because changing them after launch costs rankings.

  3. 3. Make checkout the shortest page on the site

Guest checkout, the payment methods your market expects, delivery costs shown before the last step, and nothing that sends the buyer away mid-purchase. Every extra field and surprise cost is a reason to abandon the cart.

  4. 4. Connect payments, stock and delivery

Payment gateways, courier and logistics accounts, and your stock or ERP system are integrated so orders, stock levels and tracking numbers move without anyone retyping them.

  5. 5. Bring buyers back

Abandoned-cart reminders, post-purchase emails, cross-sell and upsell on the product and cart pages, and reorder prompts for consumables. Selling again to a past customer costs far less than finding a new one, so these flows are set up before launch, not after.

What we will not do

  • Rebuild a working store on a new platform without a reason that pays for the move.
  • Change product URLs at launch without redirecting every old one, which loses the rankings the store already has.
  • Add apps and plugins for features nobody uses; each one slows the store and adds a monthly fee.

How you will know it works

Conversion rate and checkout drop-off

Where buyers leave between product page, cart and payment, read from your analytics every month, so the next fix goes where the money is lost.

Average order value and repeat purchase

Whether cross-sells and the follow-up emails raise the basket and bring customers back, measured against the months before.

FAQ

E-commerce, answered.

Which platform do you recommend?

Shopify for most, WooCommerce where the catalogue or the business logic is unusual. We will say which suits your catalogue size, margins and fulfilment rather than fitting everyone to one.

Can you fix product pages that do not rank?

Yes. Most product pages lose to the manufacturer description every other retailer also uses. Original copy, correct product schema, review markup and a category structure that matches how people search are what change it.

Do you handle the feed for Google Shopping?

Yes: feed setup, the attributes Google actually uses to match a search, and the disapprovals that quietly remove products from the auction without anyone noticing.

Can you work with our existing store rather than rebuilding?

Almost always. A rebuild is the last option, not the first, because it resets everything the current store has earned.

What do you need from us to start?

Access to your analytics, ad accounts and website, one point of contact, and 45 minutes for a discovery call. We handle the rest.

Is there a minimum contract?

No. Engagements run month to month. 98% of our clients stay because the numbers work.
