About the Index
How is the score calculated?
Each website is checked against 23 factors across four lenses: SEO (Google rankings), AEO (featured snippets and answer engines), GEO (citation-readiness for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews) and Local (Maps and near-me). Each lens is scored 0–100; the overall score is the average across all checks.
Is my data public?
No. Only aggregate statistics are published. Your domain and score are never listed. The optional industry you select is used only for benchmarking.
What is AI-Ready?
A score of 70 or more. It means the essentials are in place for search engines, answer engines and AI models to find, understand and cite your business.
Can I use the Index in my own content?
